A.C. Care - Korean Skin Care Line with Bee Venom

It's been over a year since my last blog post o(╥﹏╥)o Forgive my lack of updates orz.. I'll try to be better about blogging from now on ;w;

My korean mom is always trying to find new products to help my skin.  I don't have a lot of acne, but my skin is far from perfect by korean standards.  Before this, I was using Shiseido for quite sometime and, although it cleared up most of my skin, I still had bumps in my T-zone and on my cheeks near my nose.  My mom then heard about this A.C. Care line which is supposed to target my specific problems.
A.C. Care is a skin care line with the signature ingredient, bee venom.  It is made in Korea and is strongly gaining popularity in Japan.
The skincare routine consists of six steps:
  1. Bee's Foam Cleanser - Clears away keratin (dead skin cell) build-up, waste materials, as well as excess sebum which causes pore blockage.
  2. Bee's Pure Skin - Astringent-type toner with bee venom improves skin's innate defense mechanism and provides relief for skin trouble.
  3. Water Essence - Includes natural ingredients like royal jelly, tea tree extracts, and bee venom to penetrate pores and alleviate the root cause of skin trouble.
  4. Bee's Cure Serum - Oil-free serum applies directly to troubled spots to heal and prevent future breakouts.
  5. Bee's Moist Lotion - This nutritive lotion functions to form a protective layer with bee venom.
  6. Bee's Shield B.B. Cream - This multifunctional B.B. cream acts as SPF 35 sunscreen, UV protection, anti-wrinkle, whitening, and foundation, all in one!
**There is also a deep repair cream, but the store was sold out :<

I am absolutely in love with the Water Essence mist and the B.B. cream~!  The Water Essence feels so refreshing and can even be applied to areas other than your face for added healing :3
I've only started using A.C. Care, but I hope to see similar results with my experience!

New Nails + Bento

Hello, how are you today, lovely reader? ♥ I'm almost halfway through my spring break and enjoying every minute of it ^o^ These past few days have been great for recuperating from school and work.  I finally have time to work out, relax, and study(?) ^^;;  The only bad thing is the fact that both Tumblr and my internet have been absolutely terrible recently ;__;  I can't even spend my vacation the way I want to.. wasting away behind my computer screen ;<

Since Tumblr was pretty much down yesterday, I decided to stop F5ing and paint my nails~
I bought this polish about three weeks ago from a local salon. It's China Glaze Doll House polish ♥ Basically, it's just large chunks of pink glitter. You need to paint on several coats if you want the glitter to look like a solid color.

I decided to try it out on the tips of my nails first.  I think this actually looks nicer than if I were to paint my entire nail bed :3 Will definitely try some cool designs with this polish in the future~

3月23日弁当♥
Kalbi, kimbap, nigiri

So, because of my Pichu fail, I was sad and didn't make this bento cute or anything >w< At least it tastes good, right? ahaha~ ;w; ♥

That's all for today!  Thank you for stopping by ^o^ I will try to post again later this week~ Have a great day!

LOTD: Hearts

Hello everyone~ I haven't updated this in a month ;; Midterms have been killing me.  Fortunately, spring break is next week so I should have more time to blog ^o^

First off, I'd like to thank everyone who prayed and expressed their concern for my family and me while Hawaii was under the tsunami warning.  All of my family and friends are safe, both here and in Japan.  However, thousands of people are still suffering in Japan.  If you haven't already, I'd like to kindly ask you please donate to a reputable relief fund.  Any amount, large or small, will help so please do your part ♥

Onto the lotd~ I wore this outfit earlier this week to school ♥ I am in absolute love with the stockings~ Trying to think of some better coordinates to wear them with, but this is what I've thrown together for now. I'm open to any of your style suggestions!~
Top: Codi Club
Skirt: Spiral Girl
Stockings: Aldo
Shoes: Aldo

Haven't posted any new nail art pictures, so here are my current nails at the moment ♥
I layered China Glaze Crackle polish in black over two coats of light pink polish and silver glitter.  At first, the black crackle looked a tad dull, but that was easily fixed with a layer of super shiny top coat ^o^

2月14日弁当♥

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! ♥ I hope you all spent the day with the person you love most ^o^

Today's bento is heart-themed in spirit of the holiday~ Heart-shaped hamburger sliders, arabiki sausages, omelette, rice, and fruits ♥ I woke up extra early to make sure I had enough time for this bento ^^;;

Made with love! ♥

Here is the recipe for the hamburger sliders, if anyone is interested~

Ingredients ♥
  • Ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Half an onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp shoyu
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste

1. Using your hands, mix ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Form patties (make them small if you are making sliders). For the bento, I cut out heart-shaped patties with a cookie cutter :3
3. Grill the patties on high heat until cooked through.
4. Sandwich between hamburger buns or white/wheat bread. (Cut out hearts from bread to make Valentine-themed sliders!)
5. If you wish, add your favorite toppings! (Lettuce, onion, tomato, ketchup, whatever~!)
6. Serve and enjoy ^o^

LOTD: Almost Spring

Hello hello~ I wore this outfit to school on Friday. The dress is super cute, but I don't like wearing anything strapless so I paired it with a knit top ♥

Dress: Theme

Just a simple, easy outfit ♥ I'll have to shop around for a nice hair accessory to wear with it :3

My boyfriend and I exchanged Valentine's day presents a little early this year :3 He got me a Kinect and Dance Central ^o^~ It's so much fun!  For his present, I bought him a gaming mouse for Starcraft ♥ Speaking of which, we finally hopped on the 2v2 ladder today~ We're in gold right now, but hopefully will rank up to platinum soon ;w;

Okay well, we're going to Starbucks for a study session right now :3 Thanks for reading ♥

LOTD: B&W

I rather like this look, mostly for the top :3 Wore this to school last week~
Top: Spiral Girl
Skirt: Spiral Girl

Yesterday was a lot of fun~ Watched the Superbowl with a couple of friends and ate homemade korean food ♥ I was really anti-social most of the weekend though :< Didn't go to the Punahou carnival because I didn't want to fight through crowds. Now I'm sad because I missed out on malasadas and teri burgers ;; I also chose to stay in on First Friday because I was really tired even though I knew I would have had a fun time at Ka with everyone. Blah, well at least I feel well rested today :3

Last week, my boyfriend and I finally tried Ireh restaurant. It's super cute and the food is excellent! The interior makes it feel like you're in a K-drama >w<

Topokki ♥

My chicken jook~ So good!

Patbingsu for dessert ♥ Just like heaven~

Also, I just found out that my blog is on page one of the Tumblr directory for "Cute" ^o^ Thank you very much to everyone who recommended ♥ It really means a lot to me!

Now going to watch the GSL team leagues and attempt to finish my finance homework~ Thanks for reading ^o^

2月4日弁当♥

Today's bento is cream of mushroom pork chop with nigiri and peppers!  I cooked the pork chops last night for dinner ♥ The bf liked it so I hope he is okay with eating it again for lunch today ^o^

Some people have been asking me to post recipes, so this will be my first cooking post ^o^

I didn't really follow a recipe for this meal, just winged it for the most part, but here is the recipe to make cream of mushroom pork chops~

Ingredients♥
  • Pork chops (I used a leaner cut because we are dieting)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 large onion
  • 1-2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • White wine
  • Salt
  • Pepper

1. Salt & pepper pork chops to taste and cook on medium-high until brown.
2. Once pork chops are brown, remove from heat.
3. Sauté onions, mushrooms, and crushed garlic. Add a splash of white wine to pan.
4. Return pork chops to pan and add cream of mushroom soup & milk.
5. Allow chops to cook for 30 minutes or until tender.
6. Serve and enjoy ^o^
